Do you ever find yourself thinking “how could we do this better?” or “what would happen if..?” This curiosity and innovative spirit is often what makes a successful entrepreneur, and E-Town, Edmonton’s inaugural festival for the entrepreneurial-minded, aims to inspire attendees like you to turn those thoughts into action.
As a busy entrepreneur you recognize this spirit, and over two days—September 12 and 13—E-Town will be your one-stop-shop to connect and brainstorm with like-minded individuals from a variety of industries and learn from seven internationally-renowned speakers, including Commander Chris Hadfield, Hilary Mason and Guy Kawasaki.
E-Town offers more than your typical sit-and-listen conference. We want you to use the conference as a launching ground for ideas, so E-Town’s partner organizations put together heavily interactive breakout sessions that will have you up on your feet, discussing and sharing ideas.
The Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC) is hosting the festival along with some of Edmonton’s most successful entrepreneur communities: Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Startup Edmonton, Alberta Women Entrepreneurs, TEC Edmonton, Junior Achievement, Capital Ideas and Edmonton Executives Association.
The diversity and success represented by the speakers, partner organizations and attendees at E-Town truly separates it from other conferences. As both an entrepreneur and a mother, you bring a viewpoint to E-Town that could inspire a fellow conference-goer to see his or her business differently. Likewise you’ll find that you’ll see your business differently
Curiosity caused E-Town. A group of innovators got together and asked what would happen if we brought together Edmonton’s entrepreneurial-minded individuals, added in local entrepreneurial partners and invited mind-blowing speakers? What connections could be made? What ideas could be sparked?
You must be curious. Join us at E-Town, be a part of it and see for yourself.
