As we near the end of the year, it’s a time for reflection. We can look back and ask what worked well? What didn’t? Where did challenges lie? What can we do differently next year? What did we learn?
It’s also the perfect time to think about setting business goals for 2015. Some Big Hairy Audacious Goals! We asked 8 mom entrepreneurs to share with us what their big hairy goals are for 2015. Here is what they had to say.
To move forward with my new business venture and take lessons learned from the previous venture! I really am getting a chance to do it all again with hindsight! – Jackie Appleby Diligent Assistant
Content Pillar. That is my big hairy goal. We have been immersed in a world of ‘content marketing’ and ‘social media marketing’. In driving down to the core of why I am in business, in 2015 I will be moving forward by utilizing, and drawing from, the pieces that have helped with my own success. How it all rolls out is that I will be offering that exclusive stream of information through both my blog and marketing activities. – Suzanne Petryshyn Brain Jacks Inc.
Our Big Hairy Goal is to have 6 agencies signed on with us, coverage of dayhomes ALL across Canada, and get the government to start making changes to the accreditation process and raise the subsidy rate for working families, and allow private dayhomes the ability to provide subsidy. Just a few things. – Faye Holt Dayhome Registry
To launch three books in the next 12 months! The first one is almost ready to hit Amazon! This is very exciting for me. And I am working on getting better at speaking and marketing myself as a speaker. It seems like it’s so much easier to help someone else market themselves! – Andrea Jones Inspired Leader and Coach at Jonesing for Leadership
Big hairy goal is to take stock of what my company offers and get rid of the things I’m not enjoying anymore (whether they bring in money or not). So I guess a bit of streamlining. – Sheri Bruneau Get it Together
My goal for 2105 is to double my monthly income each month, ending the year with a six figure income. Working one on one with women who have decided that enough is enough! It’s time to dream bigger, desire more and finally live the life of their dreams! – Natalie Blais Hjelsvold A Passionate Parent

For 2015, I want this to be the year I plan, measure and achieve. My goal this year is to actually set goals, milestones and track the results on a regular basis. How else can I know how well I am doing or how I can improve for the future? Amanda Schewaga The Marketing Girl
We’ve set the goal higher for 2015 to generate more clients and larger contracts such as landscape redesigns. Helping residents create an oasis that will be low maintenance.
