A Entrepreneur Mom Now site is a great opportunity to generate an income, whether on a part-time or full time basis. We’re looking for savvy mom entrepreneurs to bring Entrepreneur Mom Now to their local cities. Launched in Vancouver in July 2011 and poised for openings on Vancouver Island, Edmonton and Toronto, we’re on a mission to bring Entrepreneur Mom Now to other markets in Canada and beyond.
What Our City Directors Do
- Oversee all editorial content for the site, whether its articles, videos, podcasts or more – whatever interests you.
- Plan monthly webinar events.
- Build a community in person and online using social media and other tools.
- Drive the business for their site, including generate sales and build a readership.
- Be the “face” of the site by representing our network locally.
- Create connections with local entrepreneurs.
The City Director role is a business opportunity, not an employment one. We are looking for a person to license out the site and run it as their business. Because the person will be provided with a business model, including tools (e.g. how to find advertisers, manage editorial, etc) and connection to other City Directors in our network of sites, the City Director has a higher chance of success (as opposed to starting a site from scratch). That said, a City Director is an independent entrepreneur and her business’ success ultimately lies on her shoulders.
